The pomelo is one of the largest varieties in the citrus fruit family. Pomelos cultivated in Ipoh are also more sought after, as they are juicier and sweeter.
Much like the pineapple, the pomelo is a fruit the Chinese consider to bring luck, joy, and prosperity. It is of particular significance during the MidAutumn Festival.
