The December jam navel orange is made in Wakayama prefecture. Navel orange was introduced from the United States to Wakayama prefecture in 1889 as "the best orange to eat in the world". Wakayama Prefecture still accounts for about 20% of the national production after Hiroshima Prefecture.
In JA Kikita Kawakami, where it is produced, it is widely cultivated along with mandarin oranges and late citrus fruits.
In our 12-month jam series, the skin is also dice-cut into marmalade so that you can enjoy the unique flavor of domestic navel orange along with its texture.
We made delicious orange marmalade by sticking to domestic ingredients. Enjoy the taste as they are by putting them in yogurt or spreading them on bread!
